Insights
Paul creates an emphatic response to the inescapable, organic vivacity of nature. Building in impasto layers, she employs the versatility of oil paint to sculpt the medium onto canvas with a palette knife, building textures to interrupt the flatness of the surface, constructing a rhythmic, sensory pattern akin to that of the landscape.
Artist
Paul has exhibited extensively for the past forty years both across the UK and abroad in distinguished venues including the Royal Academy, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, and Mall Galleries, to name a few.
