notes

New for 2025, Raymond Evison’s Clematis Baroness Fookes, (EviGsy156(PBR), is notable for its large, velvety, ruffled flowers, which are violet coloured with a darker purple bar and red anthers. Although full and bushy, the hardy perennial is relatively compact, so is ideal for container planting or the front of border, where it will flower freely from May until July, with another reliable flourish in September.

Insights
