Features

notes

A smaller and slightly more compact version of the Begonia maculata, the Double Dot is delicately adorned with an abundance of silvery spots on their dark, angel wing shaped foliage. During the warmer months, it will produce impressive florets of dusty pink flowers. Notably easy to care for, the stems shoot new leaves effortlessly and thrive well in bright, indirect light.

Insights

Cane-like begonias have long stems with slightly swollen joints (“nodes”) that resemble the same structure as a bamboo. The leaves and flowers arise from these joints. With optimum care, some cultivars can reach up to 6 feet in height!

Plant Care

Native to Brazilian rainforests, the secret to keeping your Begonia thriving is to mimic these rainforest conditions by providing it with equal measures of warmth, humidity, and bright, indirect light.
