Features

notes

Closely resembling lavender with its aromatic grey green foliage and spires of intense deep blue flowers, this half hardy perennial is also wonderful for attracting bees and butterflies to the garden. With deadheading it should flower from late spring to the first frost - an easy, low maintenance plant for the border.

Insights

While it looks incredible planted en masse in the border, the upright, compact nature of Salvia Mystic Spires engenders it to container planting. For optimal flowering it likes 6-8 hours of direct sunlight a day.
