Hamamelis molis Pallida, 3L
One of the botanical world's most amazing winter sights, the shrub Hamamelis mollis Pallida produces hundreds of clumps of fragrant, ribbon-like blooms on the bare branches. It is a relatively slow-growing plant, but makes up for this with its wonderful autumnal show of richly coloured shades of foliage in red, orange and yellow.

Hamamelis mollis Pallida will thrive in most positions, but dislikes shallow, limey soils. In these conditions, it is best to grow in a very large patio pot in ericaceous compost and prune hard directly after flowering. It is a recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence in the garden.
