Features

notes
A bushy, deciduous shrub, Caryopteris Hint of Gold bears clusters of fluffy, cobalt blue flowers in late summer, which contrast beautifully against its toothed, yellow foliage that gives it its name. With a bushy, spreading habit it provides a welcome addition of colour to the border and offers a late season source of nectar to the bees, butterflies and other pollinators who flock to its flowers.
Insights

Commonly known as Bluebeard, Caryopteris Hint of Gold is tolerant of drought and thankfully is not appealing to deer or rabbits, however, it will not thrive in wet, poorly drained soil. Very low maintenance, it is a recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.
