The interiors of the classic foxglove ‘thimbles’ are a paler yellow-orange than the exterior which is a rich orange colour. Beloved by bees, these blooms are long lasting, produced from late spring to late summer.

Insights
A favourite British wildflower, the foxglove is a woodland plant so enjoys rich soil and dappled light. Disliking very wet or very dry conditions, it will need protection from harsh winter frost.
