notes

Simon Armitage’s 'Dwell’ inspired by the Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall, explores a restored landscape where nature and history intertwine. The Poet Laureate’s poems capture the richness of woods, meadows, and jungle-like space, alive with wildlife yet fragile under environmental threat. Just as the gardens offer refuge to creatures, Armitage’s intricate verses provide a lasting home for memory, emotion, and the natural world, reminding us of both beauty and vulnerability.
