notes

Still Life Study of Flowers by Geoffrey Chatten is a richly textured oil on board, capturing a lively arrangement of wildflowers in glass jars. Chatten’s expressive brushwork and generous palette, featuring lilacs, whites, and greens against warm ochre tones, bring a sense of immediacy and sunlight to the composition. Signed lower left, this cheerful interior scene would suit a welcoming hallway, country kitchen, or bright summer house.
