A stunning addition to any garden, Hydrangea paniculata Early Sensation provides colour and interest through its red stems and the early flowering of large cone shaped panicles bearing white flowers that flush pink, providing an attractive bicoloured effect. A medium sized shrub, it is perfect for borders or underlying woodland areas.

Deciduous shrubs, paniculata hydrangeas are natives of China and Japan and are very hardy. They like to have cool roots, so do well behind a wall, and Hydrangea Early Sensation thrives in dappled shade and can light up a dull corner. It looks great in a pot, but keep it well watered, especially in terracotta.
