Features

notes
Providing a burst of wonderful autumn colour, Nerine bowdenii is a bulbous, clump forming perennial with strap like green foliage, preceded by upright stems bearing exotic bright pink flowers, which add vibrancy to the garden at a time when it is diminishing. The flowers are delicate and full of texture, petals curled and lily like.
Insights

Originating from South Africa, nerines are happiest in full sun, and like agapanthus, they enjoy being congested when planted in a pot. They also make a wonderful, long-lasting cut flower. Nerine bowdenii is a recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.
