Bearing velvety leaves in shades of deep green with brilliantly contrasting yellow veins, the Philodendron melanochrysum is a rare type of vining plant that has become popular due to its breathtaking foliage. With such a unique look and pattern, it is an ideal houseplant for adding texture and vibrancy to your interior.

Native to the tropical regions of South America, this particular philodendron would often grow as an understory plant in its wild habitat. With this in mind, its light requirements are dappled or partial sunlight. Full sun exposure is likely to damage the plant’s foliage and cause discolouration as a result.
