A favourite of many gardeners, Marmande is a big, beefy tomato with thick flesh and sweet flavour, ideal for slicing in salads or cooking. A cordon plant, it can be grown in a greenhouse or outdoors. It is a recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.

Franchi, established in 1783, is the oldest family-run seed company in the world. It specialises in endangered and heritage vegetable varieties, inspiring growers to support biodiversity by planting something slightly different from the mainstream.
