Join us in our Bath & Body department on Friday 6th November as we welcome Kate Evans, owner of the British perfume house Angela Flanders, for a rather special introduction to the art of perfumery.
Founded by Kate’s mother, Angela Flanders began life as a small artisan business, creating handmade potpourri on London’s Columbia Road. From these humble beginnings, the brand has blossomed into a distinguished niche perfume house, celebrated for its beautifully crafted fragrances, inspired by the rich history of perfumery and the beauty of natural ingredients.
‘I suppose I loved doing it because I’d always enjoyed making things and transforming things. With the pot pourris I think I was enjoying conjuring up atmospheres for rooms – scents that might suggest the past or a mood.'
