Did you know, this horticultural sand is perfect for use on greenhouse warming benches? Use a bench at least 10cm deep and prepare the bed with an even 2cm covering of fine gravel. Layer on top an equal amount of sharp sand, then lay your soil-warming cable, and cover with more sand. Lastly, apply some soil to the surface and either plant directly into the bed or use it as a base for your pots.
