notes

A compact, bushy hydrangea, Hydrangea macrophylla 'Wedding Gown’ is an elegant addition to the border or a striking specimen when placed in a container on the terrace. The green serrated leaves complement the large flower heads, which open like a traditional lacecap, with a ring of large, double white florets held around small, pale green buds, but, as these buds open, the effect is much more like a mophead. In autumn these flower heads may turn green, then red.

Insights

Flower heads are produced on both old and new wood and are great for cutting to enjoy fresh or dried. It is a recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence in the garden.
