The darkest tulip available, Tulip Paul Scherer’s deep purple petals appear almost black when in full bloom. Particularly sought after for planting amongst bold oranges and reds, this tulip will bring sophistication to any planting scheme, whether in the border or in containers.

Insights

Triumph tulips are a cross between Darwin and Early tulips and are the largest variety, prized for their traditional tulip shaped flowers and their sturdy stems. They are also considered to be the best type of tulip for forcing.
