Also known by the charming name ‘Billy Buttons’, this Australian outback native thrives in full sun, bearing bright yellow golf ball shaped flowers, held on tall stems above its rosette of evergreen foliage, which is covered in tiny hairs. An undemanding perennial, which is useful in cut flower arrangements, it also attracts bees and butterflies to the garden.
