notes

Salvia Caradonna is a hardy perennial sage with small violet-blue flowers in racemes on slender, upright purple spikes all summer, soaring above a bushy clump of narrow, rough grey-green aromatic foliage. The flowers are attractive to butterflies and excellent for cutting. An invaluable plant for the early to mid-summer border.

Insights

A recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence in the garden, these reasonably drought tolerant plants are invaluable for their richly coloured display in the border. You could use them for a colourful ground cover option.
