Features

notes

With spikes of lavender blue flowers that appear above aromatic foliage from early spring to late autumn, Salvia ‘Salgoon Lake Como’ makes a wonderful addition to the garden. A magnet for bees and butterflies, the long flowering plant is also notable for its resilience - thriving in hot and dry conditions once established. It is, however, a tender perennial, so will need protection to survive the winter.

Insights

Salvia ‘Salgoon Lake Como’ works particularly well mixed with other sun loving plants like lavender or rudbeckia and makes an effective container planting (easy to bring inside during winter).
