notes

Rosmarinus officianalis, commonly known as Rosemary, is a woody, perennial herb with fragrant, evergreen, needle-like leaves and white, pink, purple or blue flowers, which will bloom on and off throughout the summer. The flowers are also highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinators.

Insights

Being trained as a small standard (like a lollipop) makes it particularly attractive for formal planting in a border, parterre or as a specimen in a container. Native to the Mediterranean region, rosemarinus relishes the sun. Extremely versatile, the leaves are delicious sprinkled in stews and over trays of roasted meats.
