Forming a low dense mound in the border, or edging a pathway, it makes a great alternative to lavender, its flowers also a magnet for bees. Supplied in a biodegradable pot made from waste coir and natural latex.

Catmint is thought to have been first cultivated in the Roman town of Nepeti (otherwise known as Nepeta) where it was used as a herbal tea and insect repellent. It's delicious used sparingly in salads and warm soothing teas. Cats often find the scent irresistible, as do butterflies and bees. A wonderful long flowering burst of colour for the garden.
