The trailing stems of this decorative houseplant are covered in glossy green, oval shaped leaves with a spectacular purple coloured, stripy variegation on the underside, hence its common name, the Zebra Basket Vine. Delightful long, tubular flowers in an exotic lime shade with orange tips appear in the summer months, adding to the plant’s delicate vibrancy.

Native to Thailand and Malaysia deep within the rainforests, the Aeschynanthus marmoratus is an epiphyte, meaning that it lives on the branches of trees and gets nutrition from its leaves.
