Beginning with a basement discovery, when designer Luís Mendonça unearthed his great-grandfather's forgotten canning archives, complete with handwritten recipe books and vintage lithographic stones, Ati Manel draws inspiration from the golden age of the Portuguese canning industry. Sourcing exclusively from Portugal and neighbouring Galicia, Luís has worked with Adriano Ribeiro, of José Gourmet fame, to bring these authentic recipes back to life.
