Baptisia Cherries Jubilee
Also known as False Indigo, Baptisia Cherries Jubilee is an herbaceous perennial sporting spires of pea-like yellow and cinnamon-coloured flowers, which open from chocolate buds. Upright, with dense, blue green foliage, even without its blooms it forms an attractive backdrop to the border. In autumn these flowers form black seed pods, which can be dried to use in floral arrangements.
