notes

With high yields of small, firm, flavoursome fruit, this Blueberry Miniblue is an ideal addition to the kitchen garden. Not only does it grow quickly, producing lots of branches, but its upright growth means that it can be planted in a container or a smaller garden. Interest is sustained throughout the seasons with waxy, white bell-shaped flowers in spring and autumnal golden foliage. It will require ericaceous soil or compost to thrive.

Insights

Packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, blueberries are highly nutritious and can be eaten straight from the bush, or made into pies, jam or juice. Leaves from the blueberry bush can be used to make blueberry tea.
