Features

notes

Brunnera macrophylla Dawson's White is a herbaceous perennial grown for its large, heart-shaped silver leaves, edged and veined with bright green. In spring it bears relatively tall sprays of tiny, bright blue flowers rather like forget-me-nots, from clusters of tinged buds.

Insights

This is such a useful ground cover plant perfect for shady areas. It will form large, light-coloured mounds under deciduous trees, in the front of a border or along the edge of a woodland path.
