notes

Brunnera 'Jack of Diamonds' is a rhizomatous herbaceous perennial grown for its large, heart-shaped silver leaves, edged and veined with bright green, which overlap each other providing an almost circular effect. In spring it bears sprays of tiny, bright blue flowers rather like forget-me-nots, from clusters of tinged buds.

Insights

This is such a useful ground cover plant, and will form large, light-coloured clumps under deciduous trees, in the front of a border or along the edge of a woodland path. Perfect for shady areas where its silver leaves form a wonderful display of illumination.
