Features

notes

Clematis Margaret Hunt flowers from mid-summer to early autumn, bearing attractive purplish-pink flowers, consisting of four to eight petals, centred with red stamens. These petals pale as the flowers mature. A medium sized climber, it is ideal for training up a pergola or arbour without getting too out of hand.

Insights

Clematis need their roots to be cool and their heads in the sun, so plant with roots shaded by other plants. Moreover, they will add height to the garden or provide colour to a plain background, such as a fence or wall.
