A new Daphne resulting from a cross between bholua and odora, Daphne odora 'Perfume Princess White' is a slow growing, bushy, evergreen shrub with glossy foliage. It produces pretty, almost exotic looking white flowers (larger than other Daphnes) with a marvellous scent, flowering down the stem as well as the tip of the plant, which enliven the border from early in spring.

Insights
This is a low maintenance plant, which does not require pruning. Plant this Daphne in a sheltered spot by the door or gate where you will pass by often and linger awhile for the pure joy of the scent. Unsurprisingly, this compact shrub also attracts bees and other native pollinators.
