Features

notes

A most attractive flowering shrub, Deutzia Strawberry Fields bears clusters of delicately scented, pink and white, star shaped flowers, which open from red buds. Hardy and easy to care for, Strawberry Fields is also a wonderful magnet for bees and other pollinators, making this a worthy addition to a wildlife friendly garden.

Insights

Deutzias arrived in the 1830s from China and became extremely popular in the 19th century but were a little overlooked until recently when they have become fashionable again. Strawberry Fields is a recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.
