Ken Moroney (1949–2018) was a British painter celebrated for his vibrant, impressionistic scenes. Born in South London to Anglo-Irish parents, he was largely self-taught, drawing inspiration from French Impressionism. His works often depict romanticized Edwardian subjects, bustling markets, and serene landscapes, characterized by swift brushwork and a rich colour palette. Moroney exhibited at esteemed venues such as the Royal Academy in London and the Beaux-Arts in Paris. His paintings are held in numerous private collections across Europe and North America.
