Features

notes

A mound forming perennial, Brunnera macrophylla is notable for its large, heart shaped, green leaves and sprays of tiny blue flowers, very similar to forget-me-not. It prefers a cool site in the shade, so is ideal for illuminating woodland areas or north facing borders.

Insights

Offering texture and colour, Brunnera macrophylla makes an interesting ground cover, combined with other shade lovers such as ferns and hostas, or plant with hellebores for a pretty, spring display.
