notes

Hellebore x hybridus Strawberry Moon is a pretty clump forming perennial, beloved for its long flowering season. Semi evergreen, the divided, dark green leaves are leathery, and bear branched stems that hold cup shaped, dark rose tinted flowers, that attract pollinators.

Insights

Hellebores are a particularly pleasing addition to the garden as they are one of the only winter flowering plants, providing much needed colour on a gloomy day. They also offer a valuable source of nectar to foraging insects, especially bees, when little else is in flower.
