Also known as the Canary Island foxglove, this exotic evergreen shrub boasts orangey red spires of tubular flowers held on tall stems, adding colour and structural interest to the border, and attracting bees and other pollinators to the garden.

Insights

Native to the Canary Islands, and although tolerant of cold, it is not hardy so will need some protection from freezing conditions.
