Due to its height, this medium sized, fast-growing shrub is ideal for positioning at the rear of the border. Be patient if it is slow to break bud in spring, it may still be dormant, not dead!

• Prefers a sunny, sheltered spot protected from frosts and drying winds and may need protection in harsh winter conditions.
• Deadhead spent flowers to prolong flowering
• Prune hard in early spring (once all risk of frost has passed) for vigorous growth
• Tolerates drought well once established
