notes

Also known as Anemanthele lessoniana or more commonly, Pheasant’s Tail Grass, this stipa is a striking ornamental grass, with slender semi-evergreen foliage that emerges fountain–like from a mound. In summer, airy flowerheads hang almost to the ground. A delightful grass that moves easily and gracefully in any whisper of wind.
