Features

notes

A late summer flowering viticella clematis, Prince Charles is easy to grow, bearing a profusion of single, semi-nodding blue flowers, each with a satin sheen to the petals, surrounding a central yellow stamen. A compact variety, it makes a useful addition to a small garden or for container planting.

Insights

Clematis need their roots to be cool and their heads in the sun, so plant with roots shaded by other plants. Moreover, they will add vertical interest to the garden or provide colour to a plain background, such as a fence or wall. Clematis Prince Charles is is a recipient of RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.
