notes

A floriferous variety of strawberry, Strawberry Summer Breeze Rose (Fragaria x ananassa) bears pretty, semi-double dark pink flowers which are held much longer than single petalled varieties. Bred for containers, hanging baskets or window boxes, the flowers can be enjoyed as much as the sweet red fruit that follows, from June to October

Insights

Really easy to grow and maintain, planting in a hanging basket reduces the risk of slugs and snails feasting on the plants! Grown in peat free compost in a biodegradable pot made from waste coir and natural latex. Remove plant from pot or cut/tear away some of the coir if the plant is well rooted and hard to remove.
