notes

Reflecting its common name of 'Elephant’s Ears’, the large leathery leaves of Bergenia Fire and Ice turn bronze in autumn, adding interest to the garden. From April to June the evergreen perennial bears striking white flowers with pink calyces, which attract pollinators and make an unusual cut flower. Supplied in biodegradable pot made from waste coir and natural latex.

Insights

As a low growing clump plant, it’s a great option for ground cover. For the best flowers and colour, position in a well drained, sunny spot.
