Olea Europaea 'Frangivento' is a wonderful Tuscan olive that is hardy enough to stay outside all year in a sheltered position. 'Frangivento' means windbreak! The olive has a rugged, much branched habit, with long silvery leaves and small creamy white flowers in late spring. Under suitable conditions it may bear fruit as is self pollinating. Evergreen and drought tolerant, olive trees add a touch of the sun kissed Mediterranean to any outdoor space. This mini standard makes an ideal specimen for adding vertical interest to a potager or container garden.
