Features

notes
Polemonium Bressingham Purple is a delightful plant for the late spring herbaceous border. From delicately shaped leaves on surprisingly robust stalks, emerge clusters of purple/blue flowers with attractively marked centres. Beautiful in the border, this pollinator-attracting plant is also suitable for containers and can be cut for arrangements.
Insights

The regular arrangement of the leaves of this perennial explains its common name, a biblical reference to Jacob’s Ladder. Native to the woods of North America, this variety however, was bred in England , selected by the Bloom family at Bressingham.
