notes
Hellebores are perfect for adding some colour to a shady spot, their rich colouring a bonus when there is little else of merit. Anna’s Red is a wonderful example, its single claret flowers facing outward on sturdy stems, lit with creamy yellow stamens, above foliage that is marbled and evergreen. A fantastic early source of nectar for pollinators, the flowers bloom from late winter into early spring.
Insights

Ideal for a woodland area or underplanting shrubs, they also look most fetching planted in a container on a terrace for some dynamic winter colour.
