The oil bears a green opaqueness with a thick texture, with the same raw, grassy flavour that the ancient Greeks would have enjoyed and is presented in a can illustrated by artist Zena Kay.

Based just south of Kyparissia, on the west coast of the Peloponnese, Greece, Honest Toil harvests its own small groves of olives by hand, and those of neighbouring smallholders, before using a family-owned village press to ensure the high quality of the extra virgin olive oil is assured and the local economy is supported. With direct control over the whole process, from picking to pressing and packing, the oil from the area doesn't end up blended into commercial oils by big companies, but retains its own personality- cold pressed, unfiltered, unblended, extra virgin olive oil.
