Insights
Native to India, southern China, and Southeast Asia, the Phalaenopsis orchid naturally grows on other plants rather than in soil. Don’t worry if some roots appear to be clambering out of the pot, these aerial roots absorb moisture from the air and are a normal part of the plant’s growth.

Care
- Deadhead roses after flowering
- Prune in early spring by removing any dead stems and cut back plant by a third, as you would an outdoor rose.
- Repot every couple of years
- In autumn/winter move plant to a cooler position to allow it to become dormant. Reduce watering levels. Ensure it still receives some light!
