Insights
Founder and designer Tom Gozney was a disillusioned young man when he built a pizza oven in his backyard, immersing himself in cooking, especially over fire. Sharing meals with friends became a therapeutic way to socialise while maintaining his sobriety, and soon people were asking him to make pizza ovens for them. This sparked a passion for business, and Gozney launched his modular commercial wood-fired ovens, becoming a market leader within just 12 months.
