Features

notes
Also known as ‘Silver Sage’, the short-lived perennial Salvia Argentea Artemis has wonderfully soft, fluffy foliage, from the fine silver hairs that shroud the leaves. Unlike most salvias, this variety is grown for its woolly foliage, not its flowers. In summer, hooded white flowers emerge on large stems – these can be cut back before they seed, to prolong the life of the plant.
Insights

The downy leaves look striking when paired with delicate flowers or finely textured grasses, and it also adds great interest and texture to a gravel garden. Salvia Argentea Artemis is a recipient of RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.
