notes

With prolific quantities of large, red flowers in spring through to September, Geum Scarlet Tempest is a vibrant addition to your garden. Drought tolerant, it is a clump-forming semi-evergreen perennial with domed foliage, ideal for an informal, low maintenance garden.

Insights

G. Scarlet Tempest is a sterile hybrid, so produces a mass of larger than average flowers over an impressively long period. The first flush begins in mid-spring until early summer. The plant takes a breather and then starts again, going on to flower uninterrupted well into the autumn, with slightly smaller blooms.
