Blooming almost continuously throughout the summer months, Rosa Vanessa Bell (Auseasel), has soft lemon-yellow, free-flowering cups with deep, rich yellow eyes, held in large, open clusters. A compact, bushy, upright shrub, Vanessa Bell is a great addition to both formal and informal planting schemes; it also makes a wonderful hedge.

Please note, our roses are available to purchase all year round, so depending on the time of year your rose may either arrive in bloom or have been pruned or deadheaded appropriately for the season.

As well as repeat flowering, this English Musk Hybrid is reliable and also has good disease resistance. The inspiration for its name comes from the artist, designer and founder member of the Bloomsbury Group, Vanessa Bell, the sister of the writer, Virginia Woolf.
