Heuchera ‘Northern Exposure Purple’, 3L
The robust, clump forming perennial Heuchera 'Northern Exposure Purple' brings colour and texture to the border, with its striking purple foliage. Ideal as ground cover, it bears delicate pink flowers on tall, slender stems in summer which contrast beautifully against the dark leaves. These flowers add a pretty, lacy detail to cut flower arrangements; left in situ they draw native pollinators to the garden.

The Heuchera is native to North America, where it is given the common name ‘alum root’. It is named after an 18th-century professor at Wittenberg University, Johann Heinrich von Heucher. Easy to grow, with long lasting colour and very cold hardy, it’s a great addition to the border or container.
